Divine Mother’s Gentle Dove

Divine Mother’s gentle dove descends to earth,
Infusing our worried minds with sacred peace.
Our flesh-born melancholy finds sweet release,
Then our sacred souls learn their eternal worth.

Her love uplifts us beyond our hurt and dearth,
Our tears well only if Her mercies were to cease.
Her sweet, unbounded grace never sees decrease.
Grateful, we see how to inherit our celestial birth.

Light shows the way to which our hearts do aspire,
And our earthly sorrows then vanish into the night.
We feel deep in our being Her heavenly, holy fire.
That hallowed moment approaches, blazing bright,

As our hearts come unchained from deadly desire,
And our souls assume their infinite, spiritual right.
