The colors of autumn bloom
Like April in my song—
As our life moves along
I thrive in the joy we know.
You inspired my smile.
I had wondered in doubt.
Your love became my guide—
I follow love’s sweet promises.
I learned to reap joy in God’s gifts
Of nature, growing free
For humankind’s need—
I grow on love’s sweet divine joy.
My soul rises to the height of celestial light
As I muse on the love we have lived together.
