Beyond the Moon
—for the grandchildren
Come, my dears, let’s go fly beyond the moon!
We’ll dance with stars that sail the Milky Way
We’ll weave among the planets—let’s fly soon!
We’ll rise with the sun and roam before noon
We’ll watch the spinning earth below us play
Come, my dears, let’s go fly beyond the moon!
We’ll fly through darkness in our silver shoon
The stars will shine brightening our glad way
We’ll weave among the planets—let’s fly soon!
We’ll glide through skies as dreams and hopes are strewn
We’ll see the worlds go spinning as we stray
Come, my dears, let’s go fly beyond the moon!
Beyond this sad world—love and joy balloon
We’ll meet the Soul, where peace can always stay
We’ll weave among the planets—let’s fly soon!
Love is real, and our hearts remain in tune
We’ll feel the light that guides us on our way
Come, my dears, let’s go fly beyond the moon!
We’ll weave among the planets—let’s fly soon!
