Pilgrimage with My Lord
When dawn’s soft light awakens me anew,
I rise and thank Him for His gentle grace,
The gift of life, His love in every place,
A song of joy in all I think and do.
Anticipation stirs as morning’s hue
Invites my soul to seek His warm embrace,
To walk beside Him, keeping steady pace,
Along the road where hope is ever true.
Though daily cares may swirl and rush around,
His presence lingers while I work and sing;
With grateful heart, my spirit feels unbound,
I lace my shoes and let my praises ring.
At night, within His love, my soul is found—
Yet still I walk with Him, my Lord, my King.
