Blood Fire 

Blood Fire     

As it rushes the body,
Fingers flame
To inflame fingers.
Heart bangs at the door
To drum heart.

They talk.

And as eyes spark mouth,
Mouth sears lips with lips
In a blazing ethereal kiss.

Arms engulf body
And body seals to body

Until like a ripe apple

It drops off—

To die.
